Hear Lord Hattersley talk about his biography of Lloyd George at the National Library of Wales

Former deputy leader of the Labour Party, author and journalist, Roy Hattersley (Baron Hattersley of Sparkbrook) is to speak about Lloyd George at the National Library of Wales on 23 September. Lord Hattersley's biography of Lloyd George, called "David Lloyd George: The Great Outsider" will be published by Little Brown press on 16 September this year and the talk at the National Library will be an insight into the subject matter of the book.

Lord Hattersley had written widely on British politics in the early 20th century, with his book "The Edwardians" which was published in 2004 and a biography of Liberal prime minister Henry Campbell-Bannerman in the Haus publications series on British prime ministers, which came out in 2006. His interpretation of Lloyd George's career is awaited with interest.
