A new Vice President for the Society

The Lloyd George Society is delighted to annouce that Roger Williams CBE, Liberal Democrat MP for Brecon and Radnorshire from 2001-2015, has agreed to become a Vice President of the Society. As Society members will be aware, Roger has been a frequent participant at our weekend schools and a stalwart supporter of the Society for many years. A Breconshire farmer by profession, Roger was a local councillor before becoming Lib Dem MP for Brecon and Radnor in succession to the late Richard Livsey, who was himself a sometime Vice President of the Society. We very much look forward to seeing Roger again at our weekend schools in Llandrindod Wells and our other functions.
