BBC radio Wales are broadcasting a three part series looking at the role played by David Lloyd George in the First World War. This promises to be a fascinating listen as the acclaimed TV historian Dan Snow examines not only the part played by Lloyd George himself in the key roles of Chancellor of the Exchequer, then Munitions Minister and finally as Prime Minister after 1916 but also key social changes such the employment of women in the factories.
Some of the historians and commentators interviewed for the programme include those associated with the Lloyd George Society, including our chairman Professor Russell Deacon.
The series begins on Thursday 3 December on BBC Radio Wales at 6.30pm.
