Party colours – interesting BBC news article

Following a recent article in the on the topic of how Liberal Party colours used to vary from place to place, a BBC journalist has produced a very interesting webpage covering the same subject from the point of view of all the main parties. The webpage acknowledges the article which contained information provided from a number of current Lib Dem politicians including our President, Martin Thomas and from Lady Shirley Hooson.
The webpage shows examples of old election material and colour photos of a number of Liberal politicians in what we might think of today as unusual colours including one of Geraint Howells with a huge blue rossette.
