The Society is pleased to report that our chairman, Winston Roddick, has been elected as police and crime commissioner for North Wales. There is no party politics in this. Winston stood as and was elected as an Independent and will surely serve his term in the interests of all the residents of the North Wales police force area. Nevertheless Society members will clearly be glad that someone so closely associated with our Society and what it stands for has won such an important election.
