The Friends of the Lloyd George Museum exist to promote the interests of the Lloyd George museum in Llanystumdwy by:
*providing support and assistance for the Museum and its educational use
*organising and publicising lectures and other events
*raising funds
*assisting with new developments
*providing funds for purchasing suitable items for display and research
The Friends have recently published details of their series of lectures for 2008-2009. Admission to all lectures is free of charge to members of the Friends of the Lloyd George Museum and annual membership is only £10.
The meetings are held at the museum and light refreshment is served at the end of the evening.
Unfortunately the first talk has already taken place, that was Ffion Hague on her new book about the women in Lloyd George’s life, ‘The Pain and the Privilege’ but the rest of the programme for 2008-09 is:
