*UPDATE* London Date Added – ‘I Am Lloyd George – Which Version of Lloyd George Will You Choose to Remember?’ New English Language Play

*Update* Richard O’Brien, (the author of The Woman Who Helped Win the War – The Welfare Campaigns of Margaret Lloyd George 1914-18 https://www.ylolfa.com/products/9781800996403/the-woman-who-helped-win-the-war-the-welfare-campaigns-of-margaret-lloyd-george-1914-1918), advises us that the English language play ‘I am Lloyd George’ will have a performance at The Welsh Church of Central London, on 29 March at 7:30pm. We have it on good authority that this is a very good play and it takes place at the church Lloyd George himself attended.

News reaches us of a brand new, one character, English language drama play that guides the audience through the life of David Lloyd George. Written by Manon Steffan Ros, starring Llion Williams and directed by Simon Watts, it promises to be a stimulating evening.

There are four performances:

26/11/24 at 7:30pm – Berea Newydd Chapel / Capel, Bangor.

27/11/24 at 7:30pm – Criccieth Memorial Hall / Neuadd Goffa Criccieth.

28/11/24 at 7:30pm – Hwb Heli, Pwllheli.

3/12/24 at 7:30pm – Nefyn Community Hall / Canolfan Nefyn.

Tickets are aavailable from mewncymeriad.cymru and costs £10 for adults and £6 for under 16’s.

The Lloyd George Society is not affiliated with this in any way and it is highlighted because of the obvious link to our namesake.
