The Lloyd George Society wishes to send its deep and sincere condolences to His Majesty the King and the Royal Family on the death of the Queen. A family has lost a mother, a grandmother, a beloved aunt, a matriarch and we offer our sympathies on this personal loss. But the death of Queen Elizabeth II also sees the departure of someone who has been widely regarded as a symbol of national unity and service, someone who has dignified the role of Constitutional Monarchy and someone who, as Head of the Commonwealth for so many years, has contributed significantly to international friendship and collaboration. She has been a constant in British and international society for over 70 years and, as she passes into history, she will be missed.
