The Lloyd George Society will be holding a meeting on the evening of Monday 25 November 2019 in the Lady Violet Room at the National Liberal Club to mark the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Versailles and to look back at the role played by David Lloyd George at the Paris Peace Conference and the consequences of the treaties.
Our speaker will be Alistair Cooke OBE, Baron Lexden, historian of the Conservative Party and author of many works on political history. The meeting which will be chaired by Lib Dem peer, Baroness Sarah Ludford, starts at 7.00pm and is free to attend.
The event is badged in memory of the late Joyce Arram, a long time committee member of the Lloyd George Society who was also prominent in other party groups.
