Lloyd George’s Tada – latest news
The Society has heard further from the author Peter Rowland, concerning the publication by PublishNation of his new book about William George, the father of David Lloyd George about which we reported on the website at the end of last year.
The book can be obtained from either Amazon or www.lulu.com for £10.99 plus postage. (Amazon also offer a Kindle edition for £6.05.
The book is being published this year to mark the 150th anniversary of the death of William George, who died in June 1864 of pneumonia, aged 44 and when David was an infant of just 17 months – hence the subtitle of the book,
The book is bound to be well researched and highly readable and we have no hesitation in recommending it to Society members and other visitors to this website.
