The next Society weekend school will be held at the Hotel Commodore, Llandrindod Wells, on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February 2014. The attractive programme contains a good mix of camaraderie, history, politics and debate with themes about Europe and the also the First World War as 2014 is Euro election year as well as the 100th anniversry of the outbreak of World War One. Our after dinner speaker on Saturday evening is Sir David Williams, former leader of Richmond Borough Council and someone who regards Lloyd George as one of his heroes.
The hotel has kindly agreed not to out up prices for the school from those we paid in 2013, so the cost of your weekend in glorious mid-Wales is even better value for money than usual.
